(not a bug) graphical glitch

Post by Joramun »

It seems the "button_green" does not have power pink as background but plain gray instead.

It looks a bit funny in the dungeon. It may have happened to other items.

Also, I still have a problem with amalgam items showing up unexpectedly:

DA
PF

D -> doorframe
P -> facing east
F -> fake wall
A -> amalgam (facing south) seen instead of wall (facing west) behind the door frame.

The bitmap seems fine. Perhaps you're using a custom wallset and mistakenly told it to use the "wall patches"?
(which were a way of making wallitems look good on the old CSB wallset, before I just stopped using that one entirely)

If it's what I think it is, check your wallset declaration for a section like: "gfx.patch1, gfx.patch2, gfx.patch3, gfx.patchside." If they're there, just delete these parameters (so it'll have 22 instead of 26) and the problem should go away.

If you're not using a custom wallset then I think that's just how the wall looks.

See, there's a blank section in the middle of the wall, even when there's nothing on it.
Or am I missing something...? It looks fine to me!

As for the amalgam thing, you can work around it for now by defining side bitmaps that are too small to be seen. :)

Worked around the walk-around-the-amalgam problem.

As for the wallset, it is a huge shock for me.

I'm not sure I'll be able to play DM again, now that I see a glitch on every wall.
