dm 2 help

I have downloaded DM 2 but can not get it to run, I keep getting " the parameter is incorrect" I am running windows xp. Any idea what to do or will it not run in xp?

Vett, please search the forum for common issues like this before posting, thanks. There are 2 sticky posts right at the top of this forum that help you play DM2, and the lowest of those two has loads of links for very specific issues.
