item editing

hi guys,

i would like to know, if there is any way to edit items in dm and csb?
im interested in changing parameters like: name, weapon swing speed, damage, effects and attack moves (like stun, chop, fireball etc.), and the icon image.

in dm java this can be done very well but how can i do that with the classic versions?
