Compiling Dungeons

Post by frank1974 »

i have a dungeon ready to compile
i have put the "compile Modules\sean2.txt line onto the config doc
when i run rtc it goes straight to my new dungeon and i can play it
so far so good
but when i remove the compile mod......... line
and then run rtc my new dungeon does not appear in the list.

i have looked in the module file and my dungeon is there as a text file and a rtc module
what am i doing wrong?

PS its shows no errors when i run it with the compile modules....line still in the config doc

Did you give it a name in the editor? All dungeons appear in the list as "New Dungeon" unless you rename them.

yes "sean2" is its name
the text file and the rtc module show the right name in the module file

You've scrolled all the way down the list using the little arrow? I can't think why else it would be missing. If it's compiled OK, it should definitely be in the list.

I'll send you a private message with my email address -- if it's not too large, please send it to me and I'll take a look.
