Seems strange to think the moon landigns were only 8 years before I was born!

No, seriously - if you imagine the technology they had for that! It's like in old sci-fi books where people were travelling to other galaxies and on the spaceships the scientist were running around in white coats with slide rules in their hands; later, the computers had a few colour bulbs on the fronts doing *peep* *boop* *peep* *boop*. 
But it took people 18 years to get from Moon landing to DM.beowuuf wrote:only 8 years before I was born!

I have a more powerful computer to the right of me, as I type on a more powerful computer still in front of me, and a more powerful computer beyopnd that is sitting in the corner.
