And we'd only just lost Spock...now I just found out (on another forum) that Terry Pratchett just died as well. I hope Death came and reaped him in person like he does with all the important deaths ;).

Now I'm sobbing. One of the very finest writers and satirists of our time, who battled valiantly and with humour against the horrible disease that robbed him of so much. I will miss him. REST IN PEACE, DEAR SIR.

So sad to hear about the death of Terry Pratchett. I believe he kept his wonderful wit until the very end. He will be sorely missed.
