ok, so it doesn't have to be he or she related.. but it kind of fit well with the them. The goal of this is to post two different movie quotes from two entirely different movies, where the second quote could be seen as an amusing response to the first. Here's an example:

You ladies and gents have been thinking in movie quotes for a while now, so there should be plenty of them roaming around in your heads.. let's see if we can stick them together for a bit of fun

As with the others, don't post 1000 in one go.. try to keep it to one set per post. If no one else seems to be posting in reply within several hours to a day.. then go ahead and add another.

Because this task is a bit hard for some, I'll give you some hints on how to come up with them. Try googling inspirational quotes from movies. Then think of a pessimistic character or a snarky one and then see if you can find a matching quote. This is an easy formula for when you can't think of one off the top of your head.. alternatively you can picture two characters in bed together (as I did with the top one) and see if you can find quotes in those two movies that match up.. or, maybe not even in bed together.. perhaps think of them just meeting and see if they can say something each that just works..

also, don't worry if you wanted to use a quote already used.. as long as it's not the same two quotes.. we're all good

LOL, this one was good. I mean all these were good, really. I have to confess that this is too hard for me, my knowledge of movie quotes (even in Czech, not mentioning English) is not good enough. Maybe if you later decided to play it in the "Insult Sword Fighting" style where one would give a line and others would try to reply... but to think of two fitting quotes... no way. Except if I used Google or used the "flexible" and "universal" quotes like "I've got a bad feeling about this" or "why you litlle!".

I don't think there would be any calls for punishment if you decided to loosen the rules with some general quotes.

I know. What I meant was that I can only think of couples of quotes where the first one is specific ("proper") and the other one general ("universal") which can basically be used as a reply to more or less anything, like:

"We'll always have Paris."

"I knew you'd say that."

Now this might seem funny for a moment but will get exhausted and repetitive very soon. I'm still struggling to couple two specific / proper quotes.

Jan, don't worry too much. The Czech quotes are probably very close to their english translation.. as long as the quotes are not trying to rhyme, you should be ok

Another trick to use is to type the words "movie quotes" along with other key words you want as a response to your other quote.. you may find a quote from a movie you haven't yet seen, but it still counts

Also.. opening it to TV shows too.. should give us more options
