Is Skullkeep made in Japan?
The release is as follows
PC-9801 December 1993
PC-9821 1994
FM Towns January 1994
sega cd March 1994
Amiga 1995
PC DOS 1995
As for me, play did all this above and arrived for one conclusion
I think, the rough plot was produced by the FTL company,
in fact the Japanese victor entertainment company produced the dungeon master 2 skullkeep
How does everybody think?

Re: Skullkeep's greatest mystery
The game was developed by FTL team in the US, and released in Japan first.

The wiki is written as it is, but I think it is wrong.
There is no capacity for FTL to develop PC - 9801, FM - Towns, Sega CD.
(Victor Entertainment Corporation is a large company with 400 employees exclusively from Japan's Dungeon Master to Dungeon Master Nexus)
I can assert that Victor Entertainment created skullkeep for PC-9801, FM-Towns, Sega CD.
I think that FTL provided a story and graphics
Of course, in addition to Victor's own story (Minion, Meteor Metal: 流星剣)

What do you mean here by "created"hana35 wrote: I can assert that Victor Entertainment created skullkeep for PC-9801, FM-Towns, Sega CD.
Possibly the Victor team adapted the original DM2 code for the japanese systems (PC-9801/9821, FM-Towns & Sega CD) -- but certainly DM2 comes from FTL. You can also check the beta version that came on PC months before the first release. There were almost everything -- and actually even more ! -- that is found in the final version. Not even saying the DM2 engine comes from the original DM1 code.

Re: Skullkeep's greatest mystery
Skullkeep was/is a great game. I purchased it on CD from some game store in a mall, when it first came out.
I didn't even have a computer that would play it at the time (can't remember why now).
I lugged that game around for years before I remembered to load it up on the computer I was using at the time.
Once again, I found myself wandering all over the place, smiling like a kid with a new and shiny toy.
Was December 1993 when it first came out. I'd be asking about the English version.
Whatever, thanks for the information.
