Problem with private messages

I get since several days this message "The submitted form was invalid. Try submitting again." whenever I want to move or delete messages from my inbox. I am not sure why this happens and can't find a way to solve this.
Is someone having the same issue ? What to do when this happens ?

Just tried deleting a few old ones, and had the same problem.
Don’t know why, or how to solve it.

Yep, I tried deleting a few PMs from my inbox and get the same error. Even after clearing cookies and browser cache and logging in again, I get the same problem. Seems to be a bug, probably no way around it without administrator intervention: unfortunately that's not me anymore, so I can't help, sorry.

If I select a private message in the list (check the box in the 'Mark' column) and select 'Delete marked' in the drop-down list of options, then I get the same error message.

This is indeed a bug in the current version of phpbb: https://www.phpbb.com/community/viewtopic.php?t=2539181
I'd rather wait for the next official phpbb version to fix this issue.

Meanwhile, you can use this workaround:
If I open the message that I want to delete and click on the small 'cross' button to delete the message then the message is deleted normally.

OK thanks Christophe, so it appears that all options (move / delete) actually work when the message is opened.
