I have updated the list of custom dungeons, and stored the files into the shared onedrive.

Thank you for a more long term mirror ChristopheF.

I would like to think the dungeon may get some playing time from people...and they enjoy it.
Love your website by the way, part of the reason I thought I would give the project a go :D

I downloaded and read the two CSBWin and DMCoE manuals. Those
two manuals alone were obviously a great effort. Very nice!
I understand that a guide is to follow? If so, I am anxious to
see it.

I played only so far as to resurrect the four champions. I played
Conflux (and failed miserably). My first impression is that
DMCoE is a bit more "polished". But it certainly is very much
a *first* impression. Zyx produced an amazing game. That you
could understand it well enough to make improvements? Wow!
I would never have predicted such a result when I first started
translating CSB from 68000 machine language. Makes me glad
that I did it.

One thing I noted is that the 'HELP/GAMEVERSION menu item
should probably be updated.

Thanks Paul, from you high praise indeed. You are not the only one that is glad you did it. I would guess at you and a good few thousand other people as we are all still playing this game 38 years on.

I only hope it gets some more play time after all the work from the original team that went into it. Just sorry I wasn't around first time round, would have loved to see Zyx mind working and how he came up with some of it. I am not to that level, really just nicked his ideas and probably messed them up in a few places.

Guide soon now I promise. It sets out the overall story with other "stuff". Most is from the original Wiki with knobs added, like Gambit's maps with the alterations to suit that I am playing with at present.

Enjoy it's been a long wait

I could probably have spent another year working on this really but here it is, the DMCoE Guide.
Would be great if you could make another more permanent link again please ChristopheF.

Thank you all for testing and PM me with stuff you think is in real need of change in Guide or Dungeon. If it is in my power (or anyone else) it will be fixed. A final version done in a year or two for now it is time to rest for a while as Zyx says that last 1% is the real killer...

A quick disclaimer.
The dungeon and guide is vast in its scope and you may find errors in places I have not yet. Sorry for that, it clearly wasn’t meant and is purely due to the complexity of what is here. I also would like to apologise if I have used any material I should not have done in making this or for any plagiarism of text. Believe me when I say this was not intentional, it mealy means I liked your work so please don’t hold anything against me. All I ask you to remember is that all this has been done to help even more people enjoy these very old classic games and not to profit from it in any way. You only need to ask and the work will be removed...which would be a shame as I must have liked it to put it in.

I and you should also take this opportunity to thank my Misses without who you would not have any of this as I would have been working. Love you Budlet xxx

First of what may turn out to be many problems is in the Guide.
The link for Blank Spell Sheet gets you a Blank Map Sheet. Quick fix for now
Open " \GUIDE\Guide_files " and just grab A the second item "Blank Spell Sheet.pdf".

Updated thanks to player input.
Fixed two game killing bugs
Reskin and some walls moved, Sewer Map updated
Version text moved to false wall at entrance as this could go on for a while...
