What we lost from the CRT

It saddens me to think that I've been away from CRTs so long that I'd forgotten the advantages they offered in retro art methods... then to have someone clearly from another generation entirely (who probably was born post CRT) remind me of it. So, while I die of shame over here, I figured many of you might want to join me

it's an important reminder that as we play these emulated games that (honestly the pixel art is still ok and fills us with nostalgia) we are missing the blending and smearing the CRT offered.. which means updating the graphics is almost a neccessary step in getting back to that original feeling.
