That's right...BUT...with the spell book and missing runes you can prevent the player from having the required runes for levitate.
Or..how about "no magic shall enter here"-zones?

hey..short question for a fellow bloodwycher: do you remember the spell alchemy? i'm trying to remember what it does... while we are at the add-interesting-spells-from-bloodwych-topic: how about the missle spell called something like confuse , as it spins around the opposing monster for a split seco...

That's great stuff, Kentaro! :D i especially like the shop having a pile of stuff hidden in a non visible area..one question though..if the player sells like a hundred bats from his hunting time in the caves, do they also land on the item pile, cause i can imagine that would interefere with the maxi...

I'd like to break a lance for the one player one character idea, as i stated in the clones-thread ( -->there ). I believe that the overall strength on the hero side would be too overwhelming, if every player would be to control a set of 4 characters. With 4 players there already would be 16 heroes r...

Hmm..ok then. Guess you would end up having quite dull conversations with the whole concept of the screamers..i mean if you want to stay in character and all... BFS: *IEEEK* ( hi, Selie! ) Selie: *FIEEEEP* ( hey..why are you talking to my back? ) BFS: *MIEEK, MIEEK* ( dunno, have no eyes ) and what'...

I'm quite fond of the one character for each player concept, so there wont be any traffic jams in the hallways, as two seperate players could share the same spot and most importantly are both up close to the action, whereas with 4 character parties one player would have to wait behind the other as a...

I'd pick being with Chani. If she loves me back, she might eveb let me put on her moonstone and i'd be able to cast stamina potions for the both of us. As for PaulH's item collecting idea: sounds enticing....but wasnt there some fancy dungeon mechanics going on, so the items would be in different pl...

You have no idea where you are. You have no idea how to get there again. You have no idea how they are connected. It is Chaos... Yeah...isn't that just great? Just the way it has to be in a dungeon created by a Lord Chaos.....in that light original DM is more of a fight against Lord Organized, but ...

I'm doing the warcry alot on my latest RTC journey. On alot of monsters it gives you the opportunity to stay alot longer infront of a bad guy, especially when you have him cornered somewhere cause he's turning around and wasting time on that ( works great on the 1st mummy to appear in the dungeon af...
