That is great news. I do also have a Soundblaster Live 1024, and really helped, now the game works with my Bootdisk (dont need to use Dosbox). But I had to remove the FTL and INTRO file, did you have the same problems!

Well, one way to get rid of Torham is to play the Beta version of DM2, there you will be given the opportunity to chose four characters as you do in DM. That is the first suggestion I can come to think of!
