Is it possible that the Emerald Forest is much harder when you have Chief Guild members in your party?
As I remember it was easier when I did it first with a normal party...
Sometimes (nothing special done) everything flashes in rainbow colours like my party is stoned... After some time it's over, no matter my party has gone to sleep or not.
Does anybody know anything about this effect?
Some steps away I can get keys, and somewhere is the Lock. And now I can imagine why I didn't saw this in the old game - because I had a correct key and used it before I solved this quest.
Got it! (By the way, you were not really right -( one must step to the right, door in the back ...
*sigh* :( This tower of Mampang! In an older game I opened the door, but now I can't manage it now. I gave my party several dexterity potions, they are nearly naked (< 1kg), and I get always "too late" when I reach the door. In the earlier game the door was open as I came down.
Oh no, it didn't take me hours of waiting. When I'm remembering correctly, it happend a bit after my city exploration was done. You can help the enemy by blasting the gates, I think. They appear in waves, and if you have a nice corner you can defeat them - not easily, but it's possible ...
It was real noise, coming from these gates. First time I was there I did it like with all the doors - a nice fireball and ope... ops! overtaken by the intruders. Second attempt the intruders needed enough time so I opened all doors and looked in every room (exept the gates  ).
In this area (called city, I think) is much space for walking, and some uninteresting things, if I remember correctly. But if you wait long enough, then a bunch of nasty people breaks through the gates (where you hear noise before the break-out). Not only these harmless dwarfs, but also some knights ...
@Sealtiel Jepp, they are jerks or even more! But you can take revenge when you are up in this city part you shall defend. There is a room full of them - ok, some will thank you, but never mind and kill them all!
Who said I never looked into the maps? There was a time I ...
I am stuck at Level 09, The Relicuary, in a 1-square-room, brought by the teleporter in front of the room with the old relics. There I can take the eye ( nice idea, wearing it as a hat! ) and the book from the walls - and that's it. I am not able to leave thiis room. I've tried to use all my objects ...
I am struggling at level 9, Relicuary - and there is always a kind of swarm, flying black dust, something, which steals my stamina. And I can't find something against it!
What can I do?
Hi cicobuff, nice to see someone who also discovered Conflux very late like me  I think it's worth clicking every grate in the walls, often you can find items.
@beowulf I believe the fur trader is in the dwarven level, but embarrassingly I have not found him yet since he was added! Really ...
Such a pity!
So I will try to jump into every pit again - maybe I forgot one to check...
I got the maps from the DMWiki Conflux-Levels, so I am pretty guided through Moria.
I think it's not part of Thieves' Maze. And this riddle is at Spider's Level ? Then I solved it, otherwise not.
And up to now I've tried every pit I could fall into and every corridor I could enter, but I'm stuck. At least I couldn't get into nearly all of Relicuary, most of Elemental Halls, nearly ...
Thanks! Ok, so my guys should improve. Later I'll come back. For now maybe I should pick on Vecna awhile.
At the spider's level, there are three doors with teleporters behind on the map, at 06,04,01 to 06,08,01. I didn't manage to open them. Are they just for "internal" teleporting or is there a ...
Sneaking down to Ye Olde King, killing everything that moves, going down and through a pit and up again, I reached the hell.
And ended there very quickly.
Is there any possibility to survive the hell and find an exit?

But I can't find any other entrance to X. And I got one of my spent b-keys from the dead end, as far as I remember. But I ...
I got 2 b-keys, used them - but the door didn't open. And I didn't find other keys which unlocked it.
The teleporter teleports you only 1 square to the west. It blocks an opening in the hallway to the north to reach the area behind this b-key-gate. And I don't find another way to Xanathar.
Hui, got it! And I managed it to climb the top getting in contact with the archmaster, I think.
And that's it - after 2 evenings of trying to kill him and his creatures, and always crushed into the ground, using nearly all I've collected so far, staffs and blast spores and ven eggs, nothing worked ...
