Is there really nobody here that would remember Diane and the cherry pie? And the gum that is going to come back in style?

Then I will tell you three things. Three clues. The first thing I will tell you is that there’s a man in a smiling bag.

Looks like nobody is able to identify my series of quotes including the three clues. Dear, oh dear, where were you at the beginning of the 1990s? It's the
Spoiler
Twin Peaks
series! I think I'll have to re-watch it myself, but only in the autumn because it's the best season to get the mood for it. :) Got it recorded on VHS from TV (in Czech) and then saved to AVI, poor quality but brings back memories. There are funny interferences from other programmes and also from various domestic electrical appliances that were partly jamming the signal.

Heard of it, Jan, but never watched it. I don't seem to be very good at getting these unless they're from an animated film or something :D.

If anyone wants a clue on mine, it's the first line spoken in English by the character and is said in a tone which has a certain amount of surprised indignation as the person in question has just had something done to them unexpectedly, the result of which they evidently don't particularly approve of, even though said action saved their life (though they do acknowledge this shortly afterward).

The Doctor one is presumably from one of the Star Treks, and therefore most likely Bones or the Doctor (aka EMH)

Wizard Zedd, i know that one, Johnny 5 is Alive Short Circuit

Ameena, it's not Bones however that is a good guess, it is space related.

lol, haha... You're closer than you think Ameena, It's a he and is also a doctor. It series was filmed in black and white.

Unhand me, you mechanical moron.

Let me tell you a lesson about life, kid. There are monsters everywhere... I know, I am one.

Live action or puppets?

I ask because the only ones that may pertain to the "mechanical moron" (that i ever saw in black n' white as a kid), were Lost in Space or Fireball XL5.

You win the prize Saumun. I watched black and white before colour was mainstream, and if it were colour anyway it was a B&W TV. Then Star Trek came out and a new TV, Colour at the time was still new and it was mainly cartoons, Gilligan's Island turned colour, many shows turned colour. last one

Well, sometimes it's easier not to speak the whole truth.

"What have you done to my beautiful self?"

I can give more clues if anyone wants any :).
