weapons not fading out

Post by Equus / ZPC »

I found a bug in using weapons. When you have some weapon "opened" (activated) and you just about to choose the type of hit (swing, chop, etc.) and you cast a spell or throw something, you can still make the hit, even though it should be unaccessible for a while, no? the weapons/hands get faded out but the activated weapon does not...

I think this should be lil different no? ;-)))

Nope, same as DM, a weapon only fades out if you use it in this state..throwing with the hand, firing a spell, etc, does not kill your weapon if you have it readied, which i think is fair. I mean, if you are ready to strike, then you should be allowed to strike...
Climbing stairs and sleeping kills the readiness, .

I'm used to this with DM, so prefer it...I hated DM2 messing about with this in spellcasting, and i would hate to lose my ability to attck when moving around objects just because I accidentally threw something

Just a personal preference, I'd keep it as is : )
Was unable to (permenantly) kill off ian_scho (Haynuus), Ameena, oh_brother (Westian), money (Falkor), raixel (Petal) and Lord_Bones (Aurek) in the DM D&D game Time's Champions!

CONGRATULATIONS TO THOSE WHO MADE THE GAME WHAT IT WAS - GREAT!
