I bet you have good memories of your Amiga days with Dungeon Master

. It was a great game of it's time and yes, it has been surpassed in graphics, sounds and just about everything. Yet there is some 'magic' in it. It is like those good old B&W movies. If something had become outdated, doesn't mean it's useless

.
I liked DM, always has, and I guess I will for years to come. It's speciality hasn't diminished over the years for me. Granted, I rarely play it now, but each time I start it, it brings good memories and for me that is as important as the game itself.
Also DM has something many games today lack. Gameplay, addictivity, intuitivity. I'm all fed with all those C&C clones (starting from Dune II). Who really wants another Quake (or DOOM for that matter)?
The fact I like DM doesn't mean I don't like some new games too (or that I have obsolete computer

. I rank many games better than DM infact: Thief I+II, System Shock II for example. I would put Diablo II into that category if it wasn't too unstable on my machine...
Hmm... Now that I look back at what I have written, it seems I lost my point (if there ever was one

in all that ranting

...
Oh well, if anyone becames any wiser and better person because of my post I have done my service to mankind. I'm off to play some Subspace now!
