[fixed for V0.36] Can't put teleporter on wall in editor

Post by L!ghthouse »

I know that this was discussed earlier (I can't find the post though). The editor will not allow me to add a teleporter to a wall. Currently, I have to edit the txt file directly to do this. All I want is for the editor to allow me to copy a teleporter from a floor tile and paste it onto a wall tile.

Edit: I'm starting to rethink how to approach this problem. How about changing the properties of both movable and invisible walls (and perhaps fake walls as well) to allow both wall AND floor objects to be placed on them? This would fix another problem I am having with trying to create a table. (I could add a cloned alcove on the invisible wall)

Done for V0.36.

As you suggested, I've added the option in the editor to be able and copy and paste wall objects onto floors and floor objects onto walls.

BTW - the engine already allows this; you've just got to do it in the text file.

Thanks!

You are right, I can manually place them by editing the txt file. When you place an alcove on a movable wall, it displays right. However, when you add an alcove to an invisible wall (for use with a new cloned object), It does not display the alcove.
