Delete / Remove Items on a tile

Post by PadTheMad »

Would it be possible to have a trigger / action or something similar to delete all of a given type of object on a given floor tile? For example if someone wanted to convert items the old fashioned way (using alcoves, relays, teleporters and shooters) there would be a tile full of wasted original objects after the conversion. I've tried using ACTION_SWAP_LOCAL but that also swaps all of the item of that type the party is currently carrying.

The SWAP thing is a bug, I noticed this too.

The item deleter wouldn't be necessary if SWAP_LOCAL worked properly... just SWAP_LOCAL what you want to delete with NULL in an out-of-the-way area of the dungeon. :)

It wouldn't go KABOOM unless you swapped it with a fireball, the sound is played on conversion to the cloud. (This is also when damage is dealt)

... I think I managed to drain all the humor out of this one. :P
