Ok, a bit more obviousGambit37 wrote:Hmmm.... still stumped on grabbing the wand....

This puzzle is actually carried out the same as it was in Shadowgate, I just made it feel more logical to my mind.
Right above, there's a hole. What could go in there? You might be shocked to figure out the answer.
I hope that helps

I think I found a solution to the wriath, that migth not of been intential.
I walked backwards thru the door and it didn't attack me.
I then picked up the shirt.
But when I leave that room and turned back around to go thru the door again, the wraith pops up again and blocks the door.
I found the correct solution to getting rid of it eventually. Hopefully I only needed that for two things...
Are we suppose to kill all of the monsters? i.e. the dragon or banshee?

Is there a second secret passage or anything that I'm missing? Because I really can't see what I need to do. I found the Gold coins and the GOR coin, I was able to get the Crystal blade piece but I've been looking all over and I can't find what I have to do...

You mean you were focussing on the "E"; that's not what I said - in fact, quite the oppositelinflas wrote:hem... just started back DC after this weekend.. i'm still stuck in front of "desire-rised" wall and George's spoiler doesn't help me better, i tried to click on the 'E' with several objects but it didn't work

That's important.
i have searched a way to kill him : his eye ? but how
Sounds good to me. With this creature, try not to think about how to "kill" it - just how you would get past it.Dunno. Take a leaf out of David's book?

It's not a manhole cover.ZoKathRa wrote:But I still can't figure out that manhole cover thing.
Hint 1: It's a conduit to the tile one level directly below.
Hint 2: What could it be a conduit for?
Hint 3: The top of the conduit is not in a room is it?
Hint 4: What sort of object would you need to complete the structure?

You can't defeat, trap, out-manoeveur, out-wit or even evade the scorpion - you're going to have to face the innevitable truth; it's going to attack, and you're going to get hit.ZoKathRa wrote:I've also progressed to the area with the Scorpion, but I can't defeat it.
The solution to the problem might seem like it's innocuous, but it does work after a few tries.

Try not to confine your thinking to a DM-like game but instead think of the puzzle as if you met the scorpion in real life; it certainly doesn't "just attack".ZoKathRa wrote:Well I guess it just attacks me and I die...
Hint: Be more specific with the type of attack - for example; does it tickle you to death?
Once you've worked out *how* you die, go back and look through your inventory at what items you have and then at all the hints again...
