We seem to have stalled. I'm gonna let it run until 12th night (6th jan), so let's try and aim for a resolution by end of Saturday. Hopefully, there's still enough of you around with enough interest to wrap it up in fabulous style...

Yes, agreed, though despite that the story still seems to be struggling for creativity and humour. Let's try and go out with a bang --- I've added a character that *might* help us do so... :)

In a way the split sentences don't really let you create a story though - you are settign up soemhting funny for the nest person really. It was always balancing having a plotty yet silly sentence with a sillier split sentence ; )

I'm shuddering at the thought of the impending showdown between Mr. Creosote and the Badger of Doom. I must retire to my bed in haste! Nighty night.

Oooooooh, riiiiiiiiiight. Should have gotten it with the discworld reference from earlier.

Lol, well, I have named all Dm charatcers now, and hopefully all their reactions are setting an audience for the climactic showdown - you knwo, climactic unless other epople want the story to keep going : )

I know it was obvious, but it made me laugh at the time. I can't believe you can't come up with something to follow on from that, it's only an aside after all...

:D Oh, I'm sure I can. I was actually just leaving the way clear for anyone else to post, then decided a little innuendo filled ribbing was in order!

I can't finish the story tonight, so let's continue on Sunday. Hopefully, a few more people will come by and help it go out with a bang!

Is it just me or is a final plot coming together about how everyone gets out of the well, funnily coming from initial references about Nabi loving badgers (so also ties to the original lines of the story). Sweet!

Come one, come all!

We need some last lines for tomorrow about how the champions get out of the well. Extra huge amounts of bonus points for managing to use previous encounters and references that were seemingly random as key to them getting out, and extra-ordinarily massive bonus points for getting those last champions in or sneaking in references to board members!

Oops, btw I just realised I already included all the champions, so no ego-enhancing huge bonuses for anyone in that department : (

I kind of cheated with the Grey Lor'ds rubbish spell as I got two sentences in there really.... oh well!

I'm happy to let this run until it reaches a satisfactory conclusion if we can't finish it tonight.

I know that I've been away for a long time...
I know that this story was supposed to finish by Christmas...
I know that I have read the whole story and still dont understand all the random (Badger!) ramblings... But:
Can you confirm to me that this story is finished and let me get on with some work please? :P

well the badger is stuck now, and I provided an obvious exit and the perfect patsy, but turns out rather than being trounced by the group for having forgotten about them, he got in and out and left them to die :P

some might say it was a certain someone not wanting to give up this time eating daily event... I wonder who :D
