aaaah, have you used it once already? you only get one use per door opened in the later guild.

you simply put in two items from: zo liquer, sar wine, ven egg, kath vinegar

i think zo liquer and a ven egg made a orbum. simply keep restarting and try it out, then decide on which you prefer

Back after a hiatus.... But now I'm stuck in a maze like place where there are tons of wooden doors. I'm at the grill gate where i can see a bag behind it but cant seem to figure how to open it. The hint "Out of Reach" dont say anything useful, I'm too thick to figure it out I guess :P.

Any help of how to proceed from here?

If memory serves, this could help:

A giggler may appear ocassionally, make sure he steals something from you.
Chase him around, he will eventually get teleported behind the crate. Finish hin using a poison cloud.
Dropping the item he will trigger the door.
The bag contains a guild item, so it's worth it!

If memory doesn't serve, at least this would be nice idea for a riddle. :-)

I know where you are but I don't have the slightest idea of what I was thinking at the time I designed this part. I second TOMi's guess, or at least I wish this is the idea I had.

Thanks for the help with the winged key, I got through it in con 2 but forgot how in 3. now any helpfull hints on a cure for the dark armor. I got all the flyin weapons out of the air and onto the upper level, now I am stuck.

while I am here, down in the deep levels, is there any importance, like by the horny piller or in the same general are?

One more thing, can I still submit my game in the competition?

Hey, just curious, does anyone know all the different games used to create some of the non-DM monsters? I recognize the spider and two-headed dog from Blood, and one or two from Hexen, but that's all I recognize. The summoned red imps have a "Heretic" feel to them, but it's been so long since I've played that game.

Need a hint!

I am struggling at level 9, Relicuary - and there is always a kind of swarm, flying black dust, something, which steals my stamina. And I can't find something against it!
What can I do?

I haven't actually played Conflux 3, so I don't know what ended up in there compared to Conflux 2.

But if it uses stuff from that zip file I posted a few years ago, then the games included Heretic, Hexen, Blood, Shadow Warrior, EOB1+2, Dungeon Hack, Knightmare, DM (Snes Version), Duke Nukem 3D and a few arcade/console games. A bunch of stuff was also created by Cowsmanaut.

EDIT: You can see all the graphics here (Don't look if you don't want spoilers!!!)

run.

leave the area, it is possible to eventually get rid of it.(for a short time or something)
close doors, try stairs or these invisible teleporters.
maybe colliding the swarm with a monster is possilbe.

This thing is stressing, for sure
it is a cool level, though.
meanwhile:
drink stamina potions,
train.

good luck

After nearly 6 months away from home, I finally get to pick up Conflux where I left it. Which is precisely what I did earlier today. Too bad I forgot every single thing I've done, where I'm at; and what I was trying to do. I really hope I don't have to start over.

In any case, I still have my list of spells that I wrote down; so maybe I can get somewhere. I appear to have the choice of "getting judged" or dropping to a level with a few illusionary walls, a bunch of couatls; and a staircase that leads down to a place that is not fun to sleep. Unless your idea of fun sleeping is rapidly taking a ton of damage and dying. Then it's a real party down there.

I didn't renew that site after it expired last September as I had no further need for it. I thought I'd posted a note about it, I must have forgot!

You probably want to be judged to advance that quest!

Well, I've been judged & got past all that; I think. But now, I'm stuck all over again. I'm having the hardest time remembering what I've done & where I've been. I quickly remembered that I absolutely despise the spiders. They attack way too fast, do far too much damage, have a crazy amount of hp, come in swarms, and just all around suck. Plus it seems like I need to go through their caverns a hundred times to get anywhere.

Anyways, maybe someone could help me out a little. The only keys I have are a square key and an emerald key. I've been to the bottom of Pit D (what IS that thing that was at the bottom?!), used the key & made it to the "not for the weak" door. Which I got past, & can't figure out what to do with the mirror beyond it. I got the thunder spell, which I feel like an idiot for not getting sooner. I have no idea what to do in the lab with the copper, silver & gold golems. There's a section right by that lab with an invisible guardian with a penchant for beating my face in. I learned that blast spores can be worn on my head (fashionable!), ropes can be used as weapons (not good ones, though), and that Leif just got 3 fighter levels in a row when Iaido used his sar shield in a clever manner. Weird.

I can't really describe any more than that unless somebody asks, so feel free to blow me up with questions. I'll do my best to answer, but 6 months was a long time and I'm completely lost.

THe lab is really just for fun, you can ignore the golem bits.

You need to beat the invisible guardian. You could lure it to beside the stairs and lock it away so you can open that area beyond in peace.

Ugh, I was afraid of that. I find myself back in that area by the stairs pretty often, and I know that I'm just dumb enough to forget that I hid an invisible death machine there later on. Still, I guess I have no choice. Attacking it does no good, it hits much harder than I do.

What level are your characters? Not to spoil anything, but it is just a stone golem. Um, basically. Kinda. Well, just a couple of stone golems anyway. So if you can wound it, it will become slower in attack speed. If you use the physical shield spell you should be able to survive the blows better. If you lure it to the stairs, you could always just do the spin on stairs trick. And unless an exception has been coded, there is a trick to dealing with golems...

The only trick I've found so far that works well against golems is not to get hit by them. The "special" branch is a nice weapon for it, and I just learned about 10 seconds ago what the unique dagger really does. Good stuff.

To answer your question, both Leif and Iaido are artisan everything, with the exceptions that Iaido is an adept ninja; and Leif is a Pal Master fighter. I'm not sure how that happened, all I know is that Iaido hid behind his sar shield a few times by accidental mis-click and Leif got a fighter level each time I did it.

I kinda figured that the invisible guardian is a golem, it just seemed to make sense. Still, he hits crazy hard; and the only other place I can see to go is up by the "Emerald Guardians". Yeah, I got through the golems up there; but the serpents that shoot fireballs and are just all-around cooler than me love to respawn infinitely. I don't have a million hit points to tank them. The fireballs aren't problematic thanks to a few stacked up fire shield spells, but they hit me for an average of 150 damage a hit. Iaido's max is 293, so that's a problem. Ugh, I enjoy a challenge; but it's getting to the kind of difficult that's just not fun to even try anymore. It seems like every single monster type I run into is just better than me. They attack almost rapidly, can quarter or half-life me in 1 shot, have buckets of hit points; and none of my spells even seem to do anything. Thunder is a complete joke, poison cloud rarely even moves monsters out of your way anymore; and ya ven's missile thing only seems effective against the worms.

Oh, and I got pretty far into the various guilds; but the riddles for the sorcery & fighter's guilds are giving me a tough time. I know what the fighter is, but I can't seem to find it; and I haven't the faintest idea what the sorcery ones answer is. Guess I'll keep looking.

Edit: I just decided to play around with the altar of nightmares. Oops. Won't do that again.

You get fireball if you can get the sorcery guild going, plus you will advance your spellcasters. The answer is obvious once you know it - think about an object you find amny of, all the time, though probably never bother to carry with you after you have checked them out.
