Giggler Trap Neta

Post by Lunever »

The Giggler Trap at CSB Lvl 03 Neta y03/x20/y29 does not work because the giggler is long gone through one of the teleporters before the party even arrives.
It seems to me that this is often a problem in RTC-CSB that monsters enter teleporters they were not supposed to in FTL-CSB. I think most teleporters which are not intended in the first place to transports monsters should be secured with additional invisible silent monster-only-teleporters which prevent them from entering by teleporting them back unto the tile they came from.
I also noticed that in most areas marked by the Hint Oracle remark Nr. 105 "Giggler Games" (according to Encyclopaedia) are quite devoid of any gigglers, maybe there are similar problems.

DMute shows a monster block between the teleporters. It is shut off when you open the area. The Giggler should grab an item and then exit via the teleporter. Ouch.

Yes, that's how it is supposed to be, but when I open that wall there is no giggler at all.
