power gem room? halk ending or 'free the councillor'?

if free the concillor, these are throbden doors. there is a hint hidden in the dwarf frge to tell you how to past them

if the halk ending, there is a hint in what he is wearing

There didn't used to be, that level is one of the unfinished levels the last time I played, it now has some cool sounding stuff, but no significance to the main plots

Water level is worth some points if you can kill a certain monster down there. Much easier to kill in the new version, but I've killed it in both versions.

Just got internet access after a few weeks of being on vacation and I have loaded my previous version of conflux on my USB stick and it has been interesting. First, I decided to reincarnate three of the guild leaders and open their doors and then kill them off again, but they didn't trigger the doors when alive or dead. Later, I think I found out what actually triggers them as I have two of the three doors open. Finally figured out the soap and water area and killed the beholder and his buddy. Since I decided Gothmog's ending was too easy (only because I had a certain item that probably saved me a lot of time in his area), I reincarnated the other three. This time I managed to find all the cursed armor, unless there's a shield. I've been working on Mophus' ending and it is incredible! I like these battles; the creature that morphed into ten or so other monsters, and an alien that looks like one from Duke Nukem 3D. Without the three endings done yet I have about 97 points. I have a couple questions since I started replaying.
1. Is the lost wand possible to get later in the game or does that area get blocked off permanently (I've never found the area, only gotten minor hints from reading other posts)?
2. Where can I acquire the dragon shield?
3. The beholder was supposedly supposed to drop a golem slaying weapon or something like that. I found an alcove near by that is for weapons, but hasn't done anything recognizible to any weapons I've place in it. Did I miss something there?
4. Is there a particular weapon that can cut through metal? Unique or otherwise.
5. Can someone lend a clue as to how I can find the upper armory in Moria?

1. The wand can be retrieved anytime. You CERTAINLY have got clues on how to access it. There is a hint on how to find it, but it's very puzzling if you don't know what it applies to.
2. The Dragon shield is the reward of a fearsome exercise.
3. The scroll near the beholder is just a warning about how to fight the beholder. The beholder possesses something Solune wanted, though.
4. Dunno
5. Look upper and think like a dwarf in front of a wall.

The number four question is in reference to a part of Mophus' ending if that helps clarify what or why I'm asking it.

There is.

If you explore all the portals, you'll find where it's kept (if I remember rightly it is guarded by a blue knight) but you have to open the doors first...

3. Before the bug fixes, that alcove made all physical attacks faster if you put any weapon in it. That may or may not have changed. If it did it then, well, beats me.

I fell down a pit in Leyla's ending and can't escape. I'm at the strong quick and rich area, and I got the vorpal blade, but I can't find an exit. I've looked for a button on every wall and I've checked every wall for an illusionary wall several times. Is it one of those things where I have to wait at a certain spot for a certain amount of time, or is it something else that I'm missing.

If it's leyla's area, I would be tempted to suggest you are the victim of a wall you need to wait for

This spell fizzling bug happens every time I score a point, now it takes like 40 tries to get it working again.

And btw, lorewise - who is Solune ? I guess he is not the Dark Councillor, right ? I might have met (or even kill) him already, no idea though.

The spell fizzling is a known& persisting bug of the current version of Conflux.

Unfortunately Zyx can't update it right now, so he just entitled this version :

Some monsters are immune to poison but still flee when inside a cloud.

True, but knights, golem, and undead are not among them, sadly. And I thought Solune was the dark Councilor. If he's not then I completely misunderstood the entire plot of Conflux, I guess.

I always thought that Solune was the dark councilor also. Makes sense since he can send you to Solune's prison.
Is getting stuck in that area of Leyla's ending a bug? Nothing I tried has worked.

I'm not ruling it out that Solune is the dark councillor, just that it's never explicitly mentioned that he is from what I remember

I'm stuck in the hall of champions. I guess a Powergem (from the councilor) triggered a door to close and now I can't figure out how to open it. I'm trapped in the unleash hell area.
Edit: I guess it's a game ending. I clicked the gem onto Halk's portrait, and the game ended.

Solune is the dark councillor. Someday a real plot will unveil it all.

Christopher, if you feel prisonner, check your chains.

On the first level:
Stand directly in front of (and face )
the wall with the words "To the Storage Cellar".
Take one step back and one step left.
You are standing on a PIT. What can
anyone tell me about that PIT? How can
it be opened?
