Oh, yeah. Also: Minimaps with embedded spell buttons; Animated items (ex. Fury when equipped, torch when equipped, all tech stuff when equipped, potions when in inventory (!!! Way better than DM1 potions!) DM2 was missing magic footsteps, thief's eye, poison potion, and zokathra. But it is best with...

DM2 Clone, please!
Who doesn't want this?... Yeah, it would be too hard. New additions would be: New monster AI (most difficult); Town shops and money box, gems and coins as currency; Ability to place multiple terrain types and transitions; Weather changes outside; Cryochambers instead of mirrors (not too difficult, r...

Heeheehee! I got DM for SNES!
w00t! I ordered DM SNES, and it arrived 3 days early! It arrived in a box with intructions and a cartridge protector. The stuff is immaculate! I am so happy!

Your descriptions are enchanting (although badly punctuated) and your ideas are good, but I dont see any connection between the Altar of Life and Glops. None. I put 3 Glops in there and tossed in some bones from my dead party members, and my thesis was not supported. Also, I don't understand how the...

Request for DM2 Mac editor
Speaking of cheating, will someone PLEASE figure out the format for DM2 Mac saves? And then make a nice savegame editor for me? Probably not going to happen. I don't cheat to play DM2 because it is TOO easy. But I would like an editor to create a party of characters clad in tech armor with double-Nu...

I don't see where you are going. Glops ressurect party members for you if you toss the bones in there? If you were to put a table on the tile just inside the door (so it doesn't get crushed,) you could keep 5 Glops inside and not worry about accidentally squishing them in the door. You could throw f...

I buy out everything in the stores before going very far into Skullkeep... so I am prepared for disaster. I like to collect, and it helps to have every kind of armor and weapon, so you know what's best. I prefer to experiment with my weapons rather than read a chart to find what's good. I sell axes ...

I like SNES9X better, because I have no problems running anything. I do admit, though, that getting good cheats is hard. I made my own cheat for Stargate that gave me unlimited grenades, and a cheat for Super Double Dragon for unlimited lives. But either Double Dragon switches around its addresses, ...

I splurged and spent $11.04 on a copy of DM SNES with a box and manual (shipping included), and I plan to send in scans of stuff if the stuff is in good condition. I downloaded the ROM pack and noticed there were 4 versions! I can't imagine any more! How cool. More graphics. How many different sets ...

Yeah! What you guys said! I admit, I'm no true DMer and I failed to get anywhere in DMJava, though I have beaten DM2 many times. I DO plan on being a true DMer in the future by playing the SNES version of DM. If you suck at DMJava, download an easier dungeon, or play something else! Heck, make your ...

Torhams stats lousy?
Has anyone else noticed that Torham's stats aren't as good as other people? I trained Torham and Bane side-by-side, and Bane ended up having WAY more Stamina, more Mana, and higher Dexterity, Vitality, and Anti-Magic than Torham. Is Torham's only advantage his levels and cash at the start?

Hmmm. Very interesting... and entertaining! I neve thought of using the fountain as a storage area. I keep food long-term inside unused bags and chests, but since I have so much money, I sell it to the store and buy it back when I need it. (By the way, in my last game, I had purchased EVERYTHING tha...

I would be satisfied with everything minus the AI. I want a game with multiple terrain capabilities, towns and stores, the DM2 items and their stats, and a recreation of the DM2 dungeon, minus the enemies. Enemies can be worked out later, or replaced. You might have trouble creating moving pits, too...
